Use SATCoach from your AI assistant
SATCoach is digital SAT prep for high school students. Each student starts with a full diagnostic test, and daily practice then targets the skills they keep missing. When a student is stuck on a practice question, an AI tutor walks them through it one step at a time. SATCoach remembers the skills each student has mastered and the mistakes they keep making, so every session builds on that. Its connector lets an AI assistant tell a family what SATCoach does and costs, start the free SAT skill check for families not ready to sign up, and, with a parent's OK, email that parent a link to set up their child. It needs no sign-in and no key.

Email a parent a link to start SATCoach
When a parent wants SAT help for their child, the assistant can pass on what it already knows: the child's first name, target score, past PSAT, SAT, or ACT scores, and upcoming test dates. SATCoach sends the parent one email with a link to continue. The assistant shows the parent exactly what it will send and asks first.
Only for a parent, about their own child, with a first name only. Never a last name, school, phone number, health, disability, or accommodation details, or another child's information, including in the optional note.

The free skill check
For families not ready to sign up. Students who sign up start with a full diagnostic test instead.
- A parent opens the link and enters their email address. SATCoach shows a link to give the student, and emails it to the parent too.
- The student answers 20 SAT questions, Math and Reading and Writing, in about 15 minutes, on a phone or computer. No account is needed.
- The results show on screen and go to the parent's email: an early score range, the skills that need attention, and where to start.

How to connect
Claude
Open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector, and paste https://mcp.satcoach.ai/mcp. No OAuth client ID or secret is needed.
Other assistants and MCP clients
Use https://mcp.satcoach.ai/mcp with the Streamable HTTP transport. Send no key or Authorization header.
What it doesn't do
- It covers the digital SAT only.
- It doesn't give practice questions, check answers, or estimate scores. Practice and results are on app.satcoach.ai.
- It never returns any student's data, and parents can't connect their own SATCoach account yet.
share_family_contextis limited to 5 requests per connection per hour and 2 requests per email address per day.- There's no OAuth sign-in yet.
For parents already on SATCoach
Parents who use SATCoach will be able to connect their own assistant from a button in the weekly parent email or on the parent dashboard. It gives a personal connector link, or a key for assistants that ask for one.
The assistant will then answer questions like "How's my daughter doing this week?" from that parent's own children's SAT prep: progress, focus areas, the published diagnostic, tutor updates, and this week's plan. It won't see other students, and the parent can revoke it at any time. This isn't available yet.
Privacy
The public tools return only public product facts, like those on this page, and the skill check link. They never return a student's data, SATCoach's practice questions, or anything about other families.
share_family_context sends SATCoach the parent's email address, the child's first name, and the SAT details the parent agreed to share. SATCoach emails that parent one link. The request is deleted in 7 days if the parent doesn't confirm. See the Privacy Policy.
