Terms of Service

The service

SATCoach.ai is an adaptive test preparation platform with tutor and parent dashboards. SATCoach.ai is operated by Lexicor.ai. By using SATCoach, you agree to these terms. If you are creating an account for a minor, you represent that you are their parent or legal guardian and consent to their use of the service.

Accounts

There are three account types: Student (practices and takes assessments), Parent (receives progress reports and manages the subscription), and Tutor (uploads content, creates worksheets, assigns practice, and views student progress). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Subscriptions

SATCoach offers paid subscription plans for parent accounts. Tutor accounts are free. Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Upon cancellation, access continues through the end of the current billing period.

Data ownership

Student practice data belongs to the parent account holder. Parents retain full access to their child's practice history, scores, and progress regardless of any tutor or class relationship.

Tutor-uploaded content belongs to the tutor. You retain ownership of questions, worksheets, and other materials you upload. By uploading, you grant SATCoach.ai a license to store, process, and serve that content to your linked students and their parents for educational purposes. You represent that you have the right to upload any content you provide.

Uploaded content is used solely for real-time student interaction and is never used for model training. We do not use tutor-uploaded content to build our own question banks or share it with other tutors. AI processing (extraction, answer generation) uses real-time inference calls only.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: share your account credentials with others, attempt to access other users' data, use automated tools to scrape or extract content, reverse-engineer the platform, or use the service for any purpose other than test preparation and related educational activities.

Platform content

Practice questions, concept cards, and other educational content created by SATCoach.ai are owned by SATCoach.ai / Lexicor.ai. You may not copy, reproduce, screenshot, or redistribute this content. SAT is a registered trademark of the College Board, which does not endorse or sponsor SATCoach.ai.

AI-generated content

SATCoach's AI generates supporting content — including answer choices, explanations, difficulty classifications, variant questions, and session briefings — to enhance tutor-uploaded materials and provide adaptive practice. This AI-generated content is part of the SATCoach service and is owned by SATCoach.ai / Lexicor.ai. It is available to tutors and their students within the platform. Your original uploaded materials remain yours; the AI enhancements are part of what the platform provides.

While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. Tutors should review AI-generated content — especially correct answers and explanations — and use their professional judgment. AI-generated content does not constitute professional educational advice.

No score guarantees

SATCoach.ai does not guarantee specific score improvements. Test scores depend on many factors including effort, baseline ability, consistency of practice, and test-day conditions. Score estimates provided by the platform are approximations based on practice data and should not be interpreted as predictions of actual test scores.

Data and privacy

Your use of SATCoach is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Student practice data is used to personalize the learning experience and generate reports. We do not sell user data or use it for advertising.

Limitation of liability

SATCoach.ai is provided "as is." We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to errors in AI-generated content, incorrect answers in uploaded materials, or inaccurate score estimates. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Tutors may delete their account and uploaded content at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If you cancel your subscription, your account and data are preserved in case you return. You can request full data deletion at any time by emailing hello@satcoach.ai.

Parent and student accounts are independent of any tutor or class. If a tutor removes a student from their class, or if a class ends, the parent account and all student practice history remain active and accessible. When a tutor relationship ends, the tutor loses access to that student's data.

Intellectual property

All platform content, design, code, algorithms, and the SATCoach name and branding are owned by SATCoach.ai / Lexicor.ai. Tutor-uploaded content remains the property of the uploading tutor. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute platform content without written permission.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email to active users. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
